The Texas Rangers making a comeback

Baseball has always caught the attention of people. Baseball has been considered the all-American sport. The Major League Baseball is a concoction of various professional baseball teams. The Texas Rangers is part of this league. The Rangers was known also as the Washington Senators in the 60′s The fans and supporters have been showing their support by buying the Ranger tickets since they started.

The Rangers was first called the Washington Senators or just the Senators. The original Senators transferred to Minnesota in 1960 and was renamed as the Twins. As the Twins moved, they took with them the records and the history of the team leaving only the name for the new Senators. The Senators suffered from a horrible losing streak their first games. The team was transferred to Arlington, Texas after suffering from financial difficulties. The move was not approved by many of the fans and during the last game they caused riot in the stadium leaving the game to be forfeited in favor of the Yankees. In 1972, the team was renamed the Texas Rangers and stayed at their new stadium, the Arlington Stadium, which seemed to have revitalized the Ranger tickets sale.

The move was a good thing for the team with improvements in the plays being noticed. Fans filled the ballpark as they wave their Ranger ticket and chanted for their team. In 1974, the team was commended for their great plays.
